A Canvas to-do list you can work through.

An assignment list tells you what is due. A useful study checklist also tells you what to do next. Start with your official Canvas deadlines, then explore armin’s sample task view alongside classes and materials.

Start with the official assignment list

  1. In Canvas, review the List View Dashboard to-do list and your course instructions for upcoming work. Confirm deadlines in the course itself.
  2. Try the sample To-do view below. Check a fictional task off to see how a completion action feels; refresh to reset the demo.
  3. Switch to Classes for sample materials or Calendar to open a lesson. These are local examples, not changes to your school account.

Turn one deadline into a workable next step

Suppose a fictional economics essay is due Friday. “Essay” is the deadline; “read the prompt,” “choose an example,” and “draft the introduction” are preparation tasks. Keep the official deadline visible while planning those smaller steps. This is a study method, not a claim that armin automatically creates subtasks.

Check the work, then check the submission

Finishing a draft and submitting it are separate actions. After uploading real work through your course’s required submission method, check the receipt or submission status. A tick in an organizer is not proof that an instructor received your work.

Give the list a short daily review

Check what is due next, what needs a reading or file first, and what has changed in your course instructions. Use Classes for materials and Calendar for class preparation. Prioritize from the actual requirements rather than assuming every item takes the same amount of time.

Does Canvas have a built-in to-do list?

Yes. The List View Dashboard includes a to-do list across your courses. Use it as a starting point, then explore whether armin’s connected workspace suits the way you organize materials and preparation.

Does this preview submit or sync assignments?

No. It uses sample data in this page only. It does not submit assignments, connect to Canvas, or save your checklist after a refresh.
