What does this Canvas extension do?
Keep assignments across courses in one to-do list, bring in your timetable, find class materials, and explore grade calculations. Themes, dark mode, and course-card pictures let you personalize the workspace. Optional study tools include lecture notes, flashcards, practice questions, and answers grounded in your course files.
Start with the tools you need
Canvas itself has calendars, assignment lists, course-card colours, and What-If Grades. You may only need those built-in tools. armin adds a connected workspace and more customization inside Canvas; it does not replace your school’s official records or fix a school login outage.
Permissions belong to you
Allow armin on your school’s Canvas address during setup. Additional course-tool connections ask for their own permissions. Review site access in Chrome’s extension settings and remove permissions you no longer need. The privacy page explains browser storage, the daily usage count and opt-out, and data sent by optional features.
Free installation, optional study upgrades
Install armin for free. Organization and customization remain free; signed-in study tools have usage limits, with optional paid Premium study tools. Check the extension and its published terms for current limits and pricing. A website demo does not create an account or start a subscription.
Try a sample before connecting courses
The interactive demo below contains fictional courses and materials. Open a file, explore the calendar, or check off a task. It is an illustration of the workflow, not a live connection to Canvas, and it resets when you refresh.

Does it work with my school’s Canvas?
armin supports Canvas at any school, including school-hosted Canvas addresses that you allow during setup. It is independent of Instructure and your university. Other learning platforms are not supported yet.
Do I need to give armin my school password?
No. It uses your existing school sign-in in the browser. Optional armin account sign-in uses an emailed code. Review the published privacy policy before enabling AI tools or sync.
Can I install the Chrome extension on a phone?
Install the extension in a supported desktop browser. These website demos work on phones, but using a mobile demo does not install the extension.
Why does armin not appear after installation?
Confirm that you chose the right school and allowed its Canvas address. Open Canvas, select Use Armin on that site from the toolbar popup, and reload. If it still does not appear, contact support with your browser, extension version, and school.
